That's the name Kunal Khemu's character in the film gives to a suitcase full of two thousand rupee notes which he finds in a deserted street one night. The cash belongs to a wily politician (Gajraj Rao) who has to deliver it to his high command with two rival gangs tangled in between all the mess. Oh yes!!

A pleasant surprise of a film, Rajesh Krishnan's Lootcase is full of fun and lol moments making it a fantabulously breezy watch. The screenplay (with its hilarious dialogues) is cleverly written and thankfully, avoids swear words and raunchy humour to make it an ideal family entertainer.

Moreover, the characters and situations are perfectly placed to induce laughter. For example : a gangster using Nat Geo episodes for a metaphor, an undercover cop operating out of a sealed book shop and a politician taunting his way to get the job done. Every single gag works!

Kunal Khemu, always a super fine actor, pitches in yet another effective performance here. Rasika Dugal, recently seen in Mirzapur (2018) and Out of Love (2019) web series, is equally impressive as his nagging wifey. Rest of the stellar supporting cast - Gajraj Rao, Ranvir Shorey, Vijay Raaz et al - dont disappoint either. Infact, every performance in the film is top class and memorable.

On the tech front, the production values are modest but befitting for a low budget project of this stature. The lone song appearing in mid movie could've been avoided though.

All in all, Lootcase is the best amongst the multiple OTT releases I've seen off late. It's not an easy task to make one laugh so much throughout two hours ten minutes run time but this film makes it appear like a cakewalk. Kudos!!
